The CAT programs are the only programs that I'm still running under Windows (in a virtual machine on my iMac). I'm therefore looking for alternatives that don't run under Windows only. Best would be that the alternative programs seamlessly support multiple platforms, like Windows, OS-X, Linux, Andro...

Greetings from Germany. I've been using the CAT programs, since the time that PDA's were very popular. I even wrote a program to transfer CAT data to those PDA's. Unlike the PDA's, the program (FNProg2PDA) still exists and is still supported.

The Cat programs don't store the forms, queries and links in the Access database itself. These are created dynamically by the Cat program.
