Re: Last issue with title

Thanks Doug for jumping in!

Alex, the query needs to be in Access. I don't remember the details, but there was a VB macro that runs the query and writes the XML file.

Sorry, but I don't have the time available these days to set this up and figure it out for you. You'll need to look at the existing query in Access and figure out how to add the title.

Code: Select all

/Title"/>
        </xsl:variable>
        <xsl:variable name="Title">
          <xsl:value-of select="substring(document('LastInSeries.xml')/dataroot/LastInSeries[SeriesID=$_title]

Looks like it should work.

Re: Last issue with title

You will need to modify the Access query to write the title into LastInSeries.xml. Then you must add code like the code above to retrieve it from the LastInSeries.xml file.

Re: CATraxx - Explorer Templates with Chart info

Hi Doug,

I haven't had much time to look at this. Creating an XSL file is not a problem. I'm looking to do this with an AlbumList type of file. What I haven't found yet is a workable query that can filter the entire album table for a given chart and year. I'll keep looking at it as time allows.

Re: ArtistPerson with Discography [Templates from the past]

Alex Ivanovich wrote:small question:
why you entered "count" in the code?

The count checks to see if there are any pseudonyms. Without this test the parentheses "()" would always print.

Re: show Credits + Pseudonym

This is needed in BookBrowse.xsl. (Alex, you already have this in your template.) <?data lookuptable="person"?> Add this wherever you want the pseudonym to the "format-credits" template in Common.xsl. <xsl:if test="count(lookupdata/pseudonyms/pseudonym)>0"> <xsl:text> (...

The code is not working. It always returns "Albi Catalogati per:" Sometimes that is correct and sometimes it is not.
