It seems strange to talk about alternatives to the CAT programs but, truthfully, it's more about sharing our experiences and finding a supported and continually update program. The CAT programs WILL stop working with a future version Windows, eventually, some day. Now is the time to at least be know...

BACKUP. BACKUP. BACKUP your data. I've done testing and everything worked as expected. It's the unexpected that's difficult! :) You need to use the SQLUpdate found on the FNProgramware home page: http://www.fnprg.com/index.html . Please be sure to keep a copy safe as it may not always be available....

The "nizer" programs look interesting ... but expensive. $60 for a lifetime license. And I asked about the $39 annual license; at the end of the year, the program reverts back to trial mode! $60 seems reasonable for a lifetime. But it's hard to predict if the software will keep maturing ... or just...
