Re: Can't find a book

Probably, Doug : I couldn't find it, too. But it's probably a "special" book too :?: According to Worldcat, it has 6 ISBN ! 9780241956779 ( Found ) 0241956773 ( Found ) 9780141195056 ( Not Found ) 0141195053 ( Not Found ) 9780241964002 ( Found ) 0241964008 ( Found ) http://www.worldcat.org/title/pri...

Strange downloading from Discogs

Just beginning to fill Catraxx with all my vinyls. I arrive to a strange downloading of vinyl info : Artist / Group : Avalon Title : Heavy Hearts Label : Lismor Folk Catalog : LIFL 7015 The vinyl on Discogs : https://www.discogs.com/Avalon-Heavy-Hearts/release/4970728 All is well, but when I downloa...

Re: Copying a Contents Item

Hi Kevin,

That was a question I asked in the Fredrik's Forum.

If I remember, the only solution was to clone the entire book with all the contents, and then, delete the contents you don't need.

Re: Restoring Backup impossible

I tried again at home on my laptop, restoring the same database from the USB key to Bookcat on laptop. I can do it without problem. -> it's not a Bookcat problem -> it's not a USB key problem -> it's a problem between Bookcat on my desktop and the USB key : when the window with files inside the key ...

Restoring Backup impossible

Hi, I work on 2 computers ( one desk at work , and one laptop at home ). I complete my bibliographies during the week at work, and backup on USB key every day. At the end of the week, I restore the backup on the laptop to continue bibliographies at home during the week end. On monday I restore the l...

Re: Bookcat 10.24

On the facebook page, Amina Marix Evans dreamed of adding other National Libraries to ISBN search. Still not possible, but I tried to add new "Libraries Search" in the "Sites" Menu. I'm totally ignorant in informatics, but looking how other libraries addresses were built, I added the french National...

Re: Even newer version of CATraxx available!

Hi everybody. I've just upgraded to 9.46 but I experienced a big problem. It looks like the "tag reading override" doesn't work anymore. When I scan my hard drive, I tell Catraxx to read info form the directory structure (in my case: \%album_artist%\=%year%=%album_title%\), NOT from the mp3 tags. I...

Re: maximum size of a database file

In the past I had scans of cover inside database : the limits were reached easily. Actually no image stored inside database : no problem. I have the same database on Bookcat and Book Collector : nearly 30.000 books, 3.000 contents, 7.000 authors Bookcat : 42,92 Mo Book Collector : 21,44 Mo But I fir...
