Before the end of 2017 the board will be down for a brief period of time for an upgrade.
Past experience says less than 30 minutes but I can't predict the future.
Also, there is a high probability that the forum will move to a different host, but that will not happen in 2017.
Thanks,
Doug

Displaying Roman Numerals [Quick Tip]

Postby LotsOCds » Sat Oct 17, 2015 3:41 pm

It is easy to display numbers as Roman Numerals. Just use the xsl:number element with format="I". The screenshot below uses the code

Code: Select all

<xsl:value-of select="releaseyear"/> ( <xsl:number format="I" value="releaseyear"/> )
to show the release year in both decimal and Roman Numeral formats.

Thanks for the tip Dave!
I added this in BookCAT (template BookBrowse) since you'll find Roman numerals for the publication year now and then in old books.
