And a screenshot of the converter (Filter is more in the conceptual phase, needs coding :? )

Have a nice 2016, I will get in touch in January, hopefully I will be able to give it a careful testing.

I personally would prefer a phone version. I would use it as a reference on trips to the record shop or garage sales. I hate coming home and finding out I already have a copy. Everyone has a phone, but not necessarily a tablet.

I already have a phone version for iPhone in the app store since I also use the phone version frequently. At present I work primarily on the tablet in the development process and will adapt it to the phone afterwards.

Kind regards

Converter

If someone is interested in trying the converter then please drop me a line at v4cnew (at) gmail.com. The resulting Sqlite files can be opened with my favourite freeware tool "DB Browser for SQLite" which can be found at http://sqlitebrowser.org/

Worked flawlessly for me. I can see no problem converting into SQLite DB format so far.
I also installed aSQLiteManager app on my Android tablet and it opened the resulting DB easily enough.

Good to know: I am currently struggling with the Android version of the viewer, less performant than on iOS despite the same source code. And some multithreading is not working.

I wanted to thank you for your efforts - such an app will be very useful! Based on my first impressions, there are a couple of bugs to squash and it pretty much does its job right. I would say, these issues should be ironed out before the main release of Android version:
- unneeded permissions removed;
- be able to select the folder where the DB resides (each device is going to have different locations plus database file size is usually pretty big, so users would want to move these onto SD cards etc);
- sort out the portrait/landscape layouts so the app fits the screen without conflicting with status bar or software buttons.

...conflicting with status bar or software buttons
Can you give some details about that or a screenshot?

Here is the example.

1) The application totally ignores both status bar and software buttons bar.
2) The ability to choose the font size will be nice. Say, 3 options: Normal, Small, Big
3) You can see all the blank space at the bottom of Album Details section - it will make sense if the application is able to automatically eliminate it, allowing more space for tracklist.
