reinstalling catraxx

Hello,

updated to W10
ran catraxx v 8.xx
activated the key
updated to catraxx 9.xx
catraxx not working because the key is for an older version of the software

how do i work around this problem or how do i face it straightforward?

Hello gos,

Without the v9 registration key you will have to stay with version 8.
You can try emailing support@fnprg.com but the last time I tried the email came back.

hello doug,

when i run version 8.32 i'm facing an error:

DAO DATABASE.open recordset failed

what to do about that?

I'm sorry to say, I do not know.
Verify that the database you are trying to open is a version 8 database (did the upgrade to v9 also upgrade the database?)
It may be downloading a Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) install could resolve but I do not know.

Any one else have any other suggestions?

solved my problem. still had a working version of catraxx on my old desktop.

i copied the license file to my new pc et viola.
