Code: Select all

<xsl:variable name="uCount" select="count(/data/record/booklist/bookgroup/book/bookdata[series=$uSeries])"/>

Code: Select all

<xsl:apply-templates select="book[bookdata/series/@id=$filterSeries]" mode="main">

That's best. The newer template was not what you wanted anyway.

No. I know what code needs to be written and how to do it. The problem for me is the time necessary to write the code and to fully test it. Be aware that because Person_Credits is a record type template once the code is written it will not be any faster than the current template.
Cheers,
Dave
