Using field track.position in sql

Post by Cally » Sat May 04, 2019 8:07 pm

Hi everyboby,

I want to give every track an uniqe-ID-number which contains my album-reference-number and the catraxx-field "Position".
If I auto-organize my attached audio files I can rename the files with an unique name like
"%artist% - %title% - %Album.Referencenumber%-%position%", which works very fine.
The result looks like e.g. "Lionel Richie - Say You, Say Me - 7037-1-05.mp3"
This expression "7037-1-05" which contains my referencenumber "7037" and the position "1-05" I want to write via sql in a special customfield e.g. "External-ID". But in sql I cannot find this field "position".
Does anyone have an idea?

Position is a combination of DiscNo, Side and Index.

Hi Doug,
thanks, you're right of course....but: position seems to be more "case-sensitive". E.g. in case of one CD position is only "index", in case of 2 CD position is "DiscNo" and "index", in case of one Vinyl position is "side" and "index" and so on.
That's the reason why I'm looking for the field postion in sql.
